Julia is a master at creating beautiful, colorful meals that taste just as amazing as they look. Her book is filled with meals that I would readily feed my family (and plan to!) and her photos are simply spectacular. Julia includes a section at the beginning which talks about her health journey and learning to manage her digestive issues with food. She's very relatable and her writing is witty and fresh.First, we tried the Superfood Beet Brownie Bowls (I can't help but flip to the dessert section first. Ha!). These were intended as a dessert, but we totally ate them for breakfast. I will never roll my eyes at adding beets to baked goods again -- converted. I plan to make the Beef Massaman Curry, Za'atar Chicken Salad, and Crispy Salmon with Veggie Medley Stir fry next!

This is a must purchase book. I have shelves of cookbooks and didn't think I needed another one but this is a must. Every recipe I have tried has been amazing. The strawberry chia seed jam is great and so much easier than canning. The mango cashew chicken was tasty and the spaghetti squash pad thai was so amazing! Two servings of individual raw strawberry cheesecake and I logged on to write this review. While one can find many recipes online then ones in this book make it worth the purchase.
